Terms & Conditions — Client Agreement

1. The parties

This agreement is between you (the “Client”) and Sip. Style. Shoot., a collaboration between Krystal Loewen (Curated Revival) and Nicole Muench (njoycephotography_) (“we”, “us”, the “Studio”).

Content days are held at rented or third-party venues. Sip. Style. Shoot. does not own or operate the venue and is not responsible for the venue's premises, facilities or services.

2. Your session

The Founding Session is $175 CAD and reserves 30 minutes of studio time: approximately 10 minutes for preparation and outfit changes, and approximately 20 minutes of photography.

Sessions begin and end at the reserved time. Late arrival shortens the time available and does not extend the appointment, as other clients are scheduled after you.

The Founding Session includes 15 final edited digital images.

3. Deposit & payment

A $75 CAD booking deposit is required to reserve your date and time. The deposit is applied to your session total and is non-refundable.

Payment is accepted by credit card or Interac e-Transfer to Sipstyleshoot@curatedrevival.com. If you choose e-Transfer, your time is held for 24 hours while the deposit arrives.

The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your session. If you booked by card, you authorize us to charge the card provided for the outstanding balance at that time. If you chose e-Transfer, the balance must be sent before the 48-hour mark. A receipt is emailed for each payment received.

Prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include applicable taxes unless stated.

4. Changes, cancellation & no-shows

The $75 booking deposit is non-refundable.

With at least 48 hours' notice, amounts paid may be transferred once to a future Sip. Style. Shoot. content day, subject to availability. The replacement session must be booked and take place within 6 months of the original session date, after which the credit expires.

With less than 48 hours' notice, or if you do not attend, the deposit and amounts paid are forfeited and are non-refundable and non-transferable, subject to applicable law.

We may need to reschedule because of illness, emergency, unsafe conditions or circumstances beyond our control. If we cancel and cannot offer a replacement date acceptable to you, amounts paid for that session may be transferred to a future content day or refunded.

5. Gallery delivery & editing

Your private online gallery is delivered within 10–14 days of your session unless an unforeseen circumstance is communicated to you.

Editing is natural and polished — we enhance the photograph while allowing your natural beauty and authentic features to shine through. Extensive retouching and body or facial modification are not offered.

Image selection, creative direction and editing style are ours to exercise reasonably. RAW, unedited, test, duplicate and rejected images are not delivered.

6. Copyright & your licence to use the images

Copyright in all images remains with the photographer.

You receive a non-exclusive licence to use your delivered images for personal use and for your own promotional, business, social media and web purposes. Normal cropping and resizing for social or web formats is fine.

Please do not resell the images, claim authorship, or apply edits that materially change the finished work. Credit to Sip. Style. Shoot. is appreciated where practical but is not required.

7. Marketing & model permission (optional)

Permission for us to use your images in our own marketing — portfolio, website, social media and promotional material — is entirely optional and is requested separately at booking.

Declining does not affect your booking, your session or your images in any way. Your selection is recorded with your booking, and you may change it by contacting us.

8. The Revival Closet

Use of the Revival Closet is optional. Inventory, sizes, styles and specific pieces are not guaranteed, and availability changes between content days. You are welcome to choose from the pieces available on the day to complement your own outfits.

Closet pieces remain the property of Curated Revival until purchased, and items styled in the closet are generally available to buy. Purchases are final sale.

You are responsible for pieces while they are in your care. If a piece is lost or materially damaged through your negligence, you agree to pay its listed sale price or a reasonable repair or replacement cost. Ordinary wear from normal use is expected and is not charged.

Pieces are pre-owned and curated. Please tell us about fabric, detergent or metal sensitivities before wearing anything.

9. Health, safety, conduct & belongings

A photography session involves ordinary everyday risks — moving around sets, props, lighting stands, cables, flooring, steamers, hot drinks, cosmetics, garments and jewellery. You accept those ordinary risks and agree to follow reasonable instructions from us and from the venue.

Please tell us in advance about allergies, pregnancy, medical conditions or accessibility needs so we can plan your session with care.

Sessions are reserved for the booked client only. Guests or additional attendees are not permitted unless specifically approved by Sip. Style. Shoot. in advance. We may end a session without refund for unsafe, harassing or abusive behaviour toward people or property.

You are responsible for your own belongings. We are not responsible for personal items that are lost, damaged or left behind, except to the extent caused by our negligence.

10. Minors

Clients must be 19 or older to book. A parent or legal guardian must book, sign and attend on behalf of anyone under 19, and accepts these terms on their behalf.

11. Third-party venues & services

Sessions may take place at venues we rent and may involve third-party services or suppliers. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, premises, equipment or services of third parties, though we will always choose them with reasonable care.

12. Events beyond our control

Neither party is responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including illness, injury, severe weather, fire, flood, power or internet failure, venue loss, transport disruption or a public health order. Where that affects your session, section 4 applies.

13. Privacy

We collect the information you give us at booking and in the pre-session questionnaire only to plan and deliver your session and related client service. It is never sold. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us. Our full Privacy Notice explains what we collect, who can see it, how it is protected and how to ask for access, correction or deletion.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to a session is limited to the amount you paid for that session, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business opportunity.

We keep reasonable backups, but where images are lost through hardware failure, theft, corruption or an event beyond our control, the limit above applies.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived or excluded, including under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (British Columbia).

15. Governing law, severability & entire agreement

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, and the parties submit to the courts of British Columbia.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms, together with the waiver you accept at booking, form the entire agreement between us and replace any earlier discussion. Changes must be in writing.
